BG Deep Sea
With the Deep Sea models of the BG series, DAIWA offers excellent deep sea fishing rods for fishing for large cod, halibut or redfish.
The guides and action of the extremely robust blanks have been precisely tailored to the needs of the different deep-sea fishing methods with natural and artificial baits. Due to the long front grip, optimal pressure can be exerted during the fight with the fish. The BG Deep Sea rod 11928-175 has a slightly stiffer blank and is suitable for fishing with rubber fish and pirks, even at great depths: ideal for large cod, coalfish and halibut. In order to be able to securely attach very heavy multiplier reels, the Deep Sea models have been equipped with a DPS-H reel seat and safety screw.
