The Mag Sealed design virtually eliminates the ingress of water and foreign particles into the reel body via the main shaft – ideal for fishing in brackish and salt water. Mag Sealed ensures a longer life of the reel – even under extreme loads. The Diggigear II transmission in combination with the 8 CRBB ball bearings ensures a durable, smooth running and highest load capacity in the drill. The special No Paint surface coating on all Prorex spinning rollers prevents corrosion on the aluminium roller body and cannot flake off even during extreme use. The patented Air Rotor reduces the starting resistance when cranking, optimises the balance and reduces the total weight of the roller. The new ATD braking system ensures a constant braking force and eliminates the usual higher initial resistance.
The integrated rubber band on the aluminium spool was specially developed for use with braided cord and reliably prevents the braided lines from slipping through on the spool. The aluminium crank is screwed firmly into the housing and sits securely and without any play in the reel body.
The size 2500 was specially designed for better power development when cranking – a size 3000 roller body is used and combined with the rotor and coil of a 2500 size. Due to the larger gear of the 3000 body, a significantly higher force is developed than with conventional 2500 rollers. The recovery force is thus increased by 40%!
