Another high-end baitcast fishing reel from the DAIWA JDM program.
The 21 ‘Zillion SV TW includes two different models – the PL model was specially developed for larger and heavier baits that are easy due to the low gear ratio can be cranked – ideal for fishing with crankbaits, at greater depths and in salt water.
By combining the new HYPER DRIVE DESIGN concept with the new SV BOOST braking concept, DAIWA offers a light but very resilient baitcasting reel that was preconfigured via the basic settings in order to achieve optimal results with various bait weights.
The Hyper Drive Design concept includes a combination of various equipment features that optimize the service life, handling and power transmission of the fishing reel.
The new SV Boost braking concept optimizes the throwing distance and reduces the risk of line tangles:
The extremely light G1 Du The ralumin reel starts up immediately without any great initial resistance.
The zero adjuster of the mechanical reel brake is preset in such a way that optimal throwing distances are achieved. (It is recommended not to change this setting)
The Zero Shaft consists of an extremely short spool shaft that generates less friction and is therefore ideal for light casting weights.
The TWS system ensures less frictional resistance in the line guide .
The magnetic brake is set for the fine adjustment to the bait weight used and ensures less tangling during the throw with optimized casting performance – compared to the SV concept, the magnetic brake only intervenes to a reduced extent in the final phase of the throw.
