Hagane Body: The HAGANE body is made of high-strength aluminum or magnesium. The manufacturing process stands for dimensional rigidity and impact resistance and prevents bending fatigue. The result is an ultra-robust protective jacket for the high-performance gear inside, which ensures that the entire roller can withstand greater loads.
Hagane-Gear: The HAGANE gear is manufactured using Shimano’s cold forging technology, without additional machining. This production process leads to permanent smoothness, lightness and efficiency in the heart of the reel. Traditional die-cast housings are significantly more susceptible to mechanical wear and tear when under load.
Micro Module II: The new MicroModule gear technology with a freewheel worm shaft reduces mechanical vibrations. X Protect: Triple protection with special grease: the new type of backstop provides additional protection against the ingress of water. G Free Body: newly developed housing technology shifts the center of gravity of the reel closer to the rod due to the displacement of the worm balancer shaft 19mm from the bottom to the top of the reel.
